- Research Sector : New equipment/medical devices to be used for abdominal surgery and gastroenterology
- Research Goal : The objective of this research is to develop a flexible endoscopic surgery robot for NOTES.
The platform will consist of an endoscopic system for visualizing the surgical target and it ssurroundings, surgical and cancer-diagnosis tools for performing dextrous surgical operation and a master device for remotely controlling them anipulator. Lastly we will perform in-vivo animal experiment to test its feasibility and effectiveness.
